As we divided the roles of how we are going to work, Naomi and I had to take care of creating the storyboard and the animatic. To begin with we made a list of the different panels needed so as to form the general idea of the story.
Panels needed:
Storyboard Frames – Projection Mapping Introduction
1. Shot of opening scene – decorated Christmas facade
2. Carol singers approaching the house
3. Interior of the house – family members in separate room
Body
4. Thief observing the façade of the house (clumsy)
5. Thief enters the house
6. Thief moves around the house exploring the interior
7. Thief put his hands onto the image and crumples up the image of the façade 8. Thief getting away with a sack (dark background)
9. The house is left in the dark (blackout)
10. First family member lights up a candle
11. Second family member lights up a candle
12. Third family member lights up a candle
13. Fourth family member lights up a candle
14. They all gather up in the same room
15. Zoom out to reveal other houses (all other houses are decorated except theirs)
16. They light up the entire house with candles
17. Neighbour comes to the house with a box of decorations
18. The family starts to redecorate the house
19. Thief peeps at what is happening and to see what the family is doing
20. Another neighbour comes with another box of decoration
21. Portray the family working together as a team
(22.) Thief is trying to build Christmas using the things he stole from the family into his house (separate scene)
23. Shot back on the house to see the family working as a team
24. The thief comes back to see what they are doing
25. The family finishes decorating the house
26. Focus on the Christmas tree (without the top star)
Conclusion
27. The picture starts to zoom out
28. Until it reveals planet earth showing the countries in the EU lit up 29. The lights form up into the stars that make up the EU flag
30. Thief tears up the image
31. Thief steals one of the stars from the flag
32. Decorated house with family members gathered together
33. Thief places star on top of their Christmas tree
[Divergence/Transformation]: Creating a list of the panels needed for the creation of the storyboard so as to see the amount of work involved.
Once we had an idea of what each panel should include we started sketching each panel.

[Convergence]: Through the sketches we where able to begin visualise the story and how it would like. Through this process we where able to change different bits and pieces that we where unsure about. The sketches where also a vital element for the creation of the storyboard.
