Daphne and myself met up and started experimenting with the logo and where we could take it by incorporating the element of water. We tried out some different versions amongst which we had a favourite.
However, the next day we totally hated what we had came up with and as pointed out by our teammates the logo was too dull. Also the patterns where not blending with the rest of the logo well enough like the previous logo.

Based on one of the sketches I had done I tried to digitalise another idea of the logo. This had a totally different style than the previous one we had tried, however, nothing seem to work better than the logo we had.
Decision Making
After trying several times of incorporating the water element into the brand without any success, we decided to stick to the brand we have as it was the one that really depicts our concept for the exhibition, and worked well with the patterns to represent each course. That doesn't mean we are leaving everything as it is but keeping the brand we had as a basis, we will continue developing it into something more professional.
Also we didn't eliminate the element of water completely, as we will be incorporating it into the projection mapping and maybe also in some installations around the school.
