Exhibited at MASS MoCA, Jenny Holzer has her first interior light projections in the United States. The empty gallery was transformed into a welcoming space flooded with words, bodies and light. Rather than just displaying the poems, Jenny found a way to exhibit them in a more lively way so that to engage viewers and create a particular atmosphere in the gallery. On view also Holzer has a new series of paintings from declassified government documents, such a planning maps for the invasion of Iraq. Her purpose of exhibiting these types of paintings is to reveal the governmental administration of war.

Jenny Holzer's medium is mainly writing thus she tries to find innovative ways of how to exhibit her writings wether it's a light projection, an electronic sign or a painting. She always find ways and means to integrate the public into the delivery of her work.

Through the years Jenny Holzer has experimented with different landscapes and architectures as the screens of her work. She exhibited her work both indoors and outdoors. In fact, Holzer's projections have taken place in five continents, over a dozen countries, and nearly thirty cities.
