The function of this space is to welcome youths of different ages. A variety of talks and social activities take place in this centre.
The dimensions of the space are not specifically known, however, the centre used to be an old home so it is quite spacious.
The lightning source come mainly from energy efficient bulbs that are spread all over the space, however, during daytime there is enough natural light to brighten up the majority of the space.
The floor surface is covered in different tiles, and even the outdoor area is covered in tiles suitable for outdoor spaces.
When the space is filled up with youths the sounds you hear are obviously of them chatting or playing some football but other than that it's quite silent apart from a bark here and there coming from the neighbour's dogs.
As the space was arranged through the years to fit more its function I think that at this stage it is suitable for the activity that is done. There are different rooms including a big hall in which talks and activities could be carried out. There is also a small playground for entertainment and a large yard where youths can play football. The space is also equipped with a bar, an office, a kitchen, toilets, a storage and a very small chapel.
It is quite easy to access the space since it is found in a side street in the very centre of Żejtun and since it was a house before hand you can easily navigate around the space. The only drawback is that there is no other way to access the first floor other than the staircase so if a person with a wheelchair comes in, she/he cannot access the first floor.
The fact that each room serves a specific function and has its own identity, makes the space unique since it has different functions gathered up in one whole space.
The space is a welcoming home to those who use it since you have everything you need all gathered up in this youthful ambience.
